Moroccan Occupation Regime Trades in Palestinian Blood

ALGIERS-Amid the enduring tragedy unfolding in Palestine, characterized by the courageous resistance of Gazans against one of the globe’s most potent military forces, supported by NATO and spearheaded by the United States, the actions of the Moroccan government regarding its engagement with the Zionist occupation have sparked considerable debate. While numerous nations have expressed aspirations to reassess their ties with the Zionist regime following Gazan resilience, the Moroccan leadership has reiterated its alignment with Zionists, prompting scrutiny of its dedication to the Palestinian struggle and its solidarity with oppressed populations globally.
The Moroccan government’s recent actions, such as dispatching quasi-medical teams to support Zionist hospitals amid the ongoing war and enlisting Moroccan laborers to advance the construction of illegal settlements, have highlighted its readiness to cooperate with the occupiers. Additionally, Moroccans have extended tourism and economic services to Zionists, raising concerns among opponents of normalization and eliciting widespread condemnation for betraying shared Arab values and solidarity.
Despite vocal opposition from Moroccan activists who see normalization efforts as degrading to the nation and its people, the royal palace, influenced by Zionist-affiliated advisers such as Andre Azoulay, has continued to advocate for the reinstatement of diplomatic ties with the contentious entity.
As per a declaration from the Moroccan Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Moroccan liaison office in Tel Aviv has designated January 22nd as the official commencement date for all its operations, encompassing consular services. Furthermore, the Moroccan government has opened visa applications for entry into Morocco for any individuals associated with the Zionist regime, thereby cementing the bond between the two administrations.
While South Africa has taken decisive actions to reassert its dedication to the Palestinian cause, such as initiating legal proceedings against the Zionist occupation in the International Court of Justice, Moroccan media outlets have regrettably chosen to align themselves with the Zionist narrative instead of showing solidarity with their Palestinian brethren. This stance serves to underscore the parallel colonial practices employed by both the Zionist entity in Palestine and Morocco in Western Sahara.
