3rd G77+China Summit Kicks off in Presence of Algerian Premier

ALGIERS- The proceedings of the 3rd G77+China Summit commenced on Sunday in Kampala, the capital of Uganda, with the presence of Prime Minister Nadir Larbaoui representing President Abdelmadjid Tebboune at the summit.
Taking place over two days under the theme “Leaving No One Behind,” the 3rd summit aims to inject a renewed dynamic into the partnership among Southern countries in an increasingly competitive world. The summit seeks to strengthen relations and exchanges between Southern countries, focusing on areas such as trade, investment, sustainable development, climate change, poverty eradication, and digital economy development.
During the summit, Prime Minister Nadir Larbaoui engaged in discussions with UN Secretary-General António Guterres, who conveyed his greetings to President Tebboune, as reported by the national television.
This summit provides Algeria with an opportunity to actively contribute to shaping the future trajectory of Southern countries, fostering collaboration, and addressing shared challenges on the international stage. Prime Minister Larbaoui’s participation underscores Algeria’s commitment to advancing diplomatic relations and cooperative efforts for global progress.
