50th anniversary of Polisario Front, Sahrawi armed struggle: Grandiose military parade commences

AOUSSERD, Sahrawi refugee camps – The military parade, marking the 50th anniversary of the creation of the Polisario Front and the start of the Sahrawi armed struggle against Spanish colonization and Moroccan occupation, commenced on Saturday under the guidance of the President of the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic (SADR) and Secretary General of the Polisario Front, Brahim Ghali.

The parade aims to showcase the military, tactical, and logistical capabilities of the Sahrawi army and is attended by numerous foreign delegations, international personalities, friends of the Sahrawi cause, and human rights defenders.

Representatives from all segments of Sahrawi society also attended the parade, making it a symbolic event in several respects.

The Sahrawi people remain committed to their fight for self-determination, and this anniversary serves as a reminder of their unwavering determination to achieve their goals.
