ALGIERS- The 5th edition of the Algeria Startup Challenge program has been launched with great enthusiasm and excitement. The event took place on May 22, 2023, at the luxurious Marriott Hotel in Algiers. The Minister of Knowledge Economy, Start-ups, and Small Businesses, Yassine El Mahdi Walid, inaugurated the program under the theme “Innovate for a Sustainable Future.” The program focuses on four areas of choice, namely Fintech, Foodtech, HealthTech, and Technology for Good.
The program is organized by the renowned incubator and innovation hub, Leancubator, and is sponsored by the Ministry of the Knowledge Economy, Startups, and Microenterprises. This annual event is an unprecedented opportunity to showcase the best startups from all over the country. These promising startups will receive support throughout the program, and expert panels led by luminaries and renowned personalities from the financial, industrial, agri-food, and health sectors will be presented.
The selected themes aim to link startups with large groups, leading to a greater contribution of startups in increasing the integration rate in Algeria in different sectors. This program is a fantastic opportunity for startups to showcase their innovative ideas and contribute to a sustainable future. We look forward to seeing the exciting developments that will emerge from this year’s Algeria Startup Challenge program.
