ALGIERS- In recent years, vast housing units distribution operations have been organized in the run-up to national holidays throughout almost the entire Algerian territory. For the 61st anniversary of Independence Day, coinciding with July 5, 2023, 10,000 units, different formulas combined, will be distributed, announced on Monday, the wali of Algiers, Abdennour Rabhi.
“10,000 housing units will be distributed, including 7,800 AADL housing units, 1,500 rental promotional housing units (LPL), and 602 participatory social housing units (LSP)”, he detailed during the Algerian radio forum.
Regarding the LPL housing program in Algiers, Mr. Rabhi said that it includes nearly 10,000 units, of which the construction of 3,000 units has already been launched and the construction of 5,000 others, having benefited from land bases, is in progress.
