7th GECF Summit in Algiers: President Tebboune Welcomes His Tunisian Counterpart at Algiers Airport

Algiers, March 1, 2024 – President Abdelmadjid Tebboune of Algeria welcomed his Tunisian counterpart, Kais Saied, at Houari Boumediene International Airport on Friday.
The visit of Kais Saied comes as part of his participation in the 7th Summit of Heads of State and Government of the Gas Exporting Countries Forum scheduled for Saturday in the Algerian capital.
During the reception ceremony, the two presidents listened to the national anthems of their respective countries before reviewing a formation of the Republican Guard, which rendered them a ceremonial salute.
