Algerian Energy Minister Engages in Talks with OAPEC SG: Exploring Reform Measures for Organization

ALGIERS- The Minister of Energy and Mines, Mohamed Arkab, held a meeting with Djamel Aissa Al Loughani, the Secretary General of the Organization of Arab Petroleum Exporting Countries (OAPEC). The meeting, which took place on Monday, aimed to discuss the reform and strengthening of the organization.

Representatives from Algeria and executives from the ministry also participated in the meeting. The focus of the discussion revolved around enhancing cooperation between Algeria and OAPEC in the hydrocarbon and energy sectors. Additionally, the meeting addressed organic and organizational issues within OAPEC and analyzed the current state and future trends of the global hydrocarbons market.
