The UN Secretary General’s Special Adviser for Libya, Stephanie Williams, called on Friday from Ankara for “coherent and comprehensive regional and international support” for Libya.
Williams spoke in Ankara with Turkish Deputy Foreign Minister Sedat Unal about the latest political developments in Libya, the electoral process and the way forward in this regard.
In a tweet, Williams called his talks with Turkey’s Deputy Foreign Minister in Ankara “very fruitful.”
“We stressed the need to strengthen the spirit of consensus between the Libyan parties for the common good of the country,” added the American diplomat.
