José Manuel Albares, Spanish Foreign Minister: “The supply of Algerian gas is totally guaranteed”

Spanish Foreign Minister José Manuel Albares spoke about the supply of Algerian gas from Spain, after the closure of the Maghreb Europe (GME) gas pipeline and Algeria’s decision to only use the gas pipeline Medgaz, linking Beni-Saf (Algeria) to Almeria (Spain).

In an interview published on Sunday January 16, 2022 in the Spanish newspaper El Diario, José Manuel Albares indicated that the supply of Algerian gas to Spain is fully guaranteed and the Spanish gas companies with which he had discussions have confirmed this.
