The President of the Republic, Supreme Head of the Armed Forces, Minister of National Defence Abdelmadjid Tebboune, affirmed that parties are disturbed by the sovereignty of Algeria, the Head of State declared “we will continue, with the support of our People’s National Army, on our way with an unshakeable will to allow Algeria to occupy the place that suits it, regionally and internationally”.
President Tebboune decided on Tuesday to establish August 4 as National People’s Army (NPA) National Day, in a speech delivered at the headquarters of the Ministry of National Defense (MDN) and broadcast by videoconference to all the commands of the forces, military regions, major units and higher education institutions, the President of the Republic announced his decision to establish August 4 as National Day of the NPA.
The President of the Republic made a point of recalling, on this occasion, that the Algerian Army was a “peaceful army but ardently defends Algeria. Beware of anyone who dares to attack it”.
President Tebboune congratulated Army Corps General Saïd Chanegriha, Chief of Staff of the NPA for the achievements made at the head of the Army, welcoming the efforts made to preserve the readiness of the NPA in all circumstances..
Also, he saluted the efforts of the officers, non-commissioned officers, soldiers and all the personnel “proud to belong to our brave Army”, and to whom he addressed himself by declaring: “I highly salutes the national commitment and the increased professionalism shown by our Army, especially during the exercises which demonstrate the level reached”.
