The founding members of the Council for Algerian Economic Renewal (CREA), which has been announced this Saturday, during the Constitutive General Assembly of the International Center of Conferences “Abdelatif Rahal”, the Director General of the “Venus” laboratories, Kamel Moula, has been elected as the first President of the Council for a three-year electoral term.
In his statement after his election, Kamel Moula confirmed that the establishment of this new employers’ union, which has 70 founding members, aims to integrate and combine efforts and energies in the name of “economic patriotism”, stressing that “this initiative came in response to the conclusions of the National Conference on Industrial Recovery held last December, during which the President of the Republic emphasized the mobilization of all skills for the development of the national economy.
Kamel Moula was previously elected to lead the Club of Entrepreneurs and Industrialists of Mitidja (CEIMI) for two consecutive terms from 2014 to 2021, as he worked to improve the investment climate and its stability, encourage and support investors and restore their confidence, which had enabled it to make a qualitative leap by contributing to the construction of an industrial fabric in the Mitidja region.
The program of the President of CREA, during his mandate, which he received on Saturday, represents an integrated project based on important economic pillars, in particular by giving national companies facilities to define themselves and expand their products, relying on experts, involving women in the National Office, and working to ensure that the Council is a link between the Algerian State and the developed countries to build a solid national economy.
The ambitious young businessman heads the administration of Venus Laboratories, which is the most famous and oldest private company specializing in the field of cosmetics, in addition to being the general secretary of the Equine Club of Mitidja and the director of the Mitidja Aeroclub, and he holds a certificate of innovation at the Industry and Innovation Fair for the year 2013.
The President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, presented Kamel Moula with the medal of the order of national merit in the rank of “Achir”, on the sidelines of the National Conference on Industrial Recovery, which was held last December, in the honor of its contribution to the construction of the national economy.
After his election as President of CREA, Kamel Moula wrote on his official Facebook page: “February 19, 2022, a date to remember. For the first time in the economic history of our country, public/private companies/startups are coming together in a national employers’ union to act together.”
“The Algerian Council for Economic Renewal responds to the will of the President of the Republic, who has decided that 2022 will be the year of economic take-off,” added the businessman.
The head of the new employers’ organization affirmed that he appreciates “this heavy responsibility and today I put all my energy at the service of the Economic Renewal of our country”, calling for action “faster and stronger to build a prosperous Algeria for all”
