The General Confederation of Algerian Enterprises (CGEA) organized, on Tuesday in Algiers, a meeting which brought together Algerian businessmen with their American counterparts, during which the possibility of establishing partnership projects was discussed.
This meeting comes after the president of the CGEA, Saida Neghza, received the American ambassador, Elizabeth Moore Aubin, on February 22 at the national headquarters of the confederation.
The CGEA indicated in a press release that “As part of the extension of the visit of the American ambassador to Algeria to the headquarters of the General Confederation of Algerian Enterprises, a meeting was organized yesterday at the Sofital hotel between businessmen of the Confederation active in the sectors of energy, environment, water resources and water treatment, as well as construction and irrigation, architecture and agro- food with their American counterparts,” according to the same press release.
The meeting continued, after the interventions of the operators present, with an exchange of views on the possibility of establishing partnership projects, adds the source.
The two sides also expressed the will to succeed in investment projects to upgrade local production in accordance with the country’s economic orientation strategiy.
