African Business Fair: signature of five partnership contracts and 25 preliminary agreements

Five partnership contracts and 25 preliminary agreements have been signed by Algerian economic operators and their counterparts from African countries on the sidelines of the African Business Fair which closed on Friday in Oran, it was indicated in a statement by the organizers of the event.

“Meetings between Algerian businessmen and delegations from African countries, ambassadors in particular, resulted in the signing of five official partnership contracts and 25 preliminary agreements, pending the study of the practicalities of their implementation. between the contracting parties”, it was pointed out.

The exhibition, which have been held for three days on the sidelines of the show, saw “a large influx” of visitors, businessmen and Algerian business leaders in particular, to find out about the possibilities of establishing partnerships with their counterparts from participating African countries, it was noted.

The sectors of mining, processing and entrepreneurship in the field of major public works were at the heart of the meetings organized as part of this show, the organizers of the show said in their press release, indicating that the participants also mentioned the obstacles to the establishment of an integrated African economic system.

The B-to-B meetings between the ambassadors of African countries in Algeria and Algerian economic operators were, moreover, an opportunity to identify different investment and trade opportunities, it was noted.

The first edition of the African Business Fair recorded the participation of diplomatic representations from 17 African countries, accompanied by representatives of institutions and companies from these countries, as well as about fifty Algerian economic operators.
