The Condor group has received 6 new operating permits for its various production units in the wilaya of Bordj Bou Arreridj
Five of these permits has been issued in the name of Bordj Steel SPA, which specializes in the manufacture of metal structures, metal insulating panels, galvanizing, tanks, electric poles and vehicle frames, and others.
Bordj Steel currently provides over 420 jobs, reaching over 500 workers by the end of this year.
The sixth permits has been also granted to the refrigerator manufacturing unit, which provides 900 new jobs, with a production capacity of approximately 400,000 units per year, bringing the total production capacity of Condor refrigerators to more than 800,000 refrigerators, 30% of which are for export to African markets.
Thus, this unit, which was inaugurated two weeks ago by the Minister of Industry, Ahmed Zeghdar, will be able to accelerate the pace of manufacture in order to meet each time the growing demands of foreign markets for Condor refrigerators.
