TV5 MONDE AFRIQUE has gave an interview to Saida Neghza, President of the General Confederation of Algerian Enterprises, where she has been asked in the program “Women of Africa in action” a series of questions related to her position in Algeria, in Africa and in the Mediterranean, as well as its role in achieving economic growth in these regions.
The Algerian businesswoman has introduced herself to the French channel’s program by declaring: “I am Saida Neghza, of Algerian nationality, working in Algiers and I am based in all regions of the country. »
“I am president of SORALCOF, specializing in the ETPBH public works and quarries I also chair the CGEA, since 2016 to date, I have also chaired the BusinessMed organization, which brings together 19 Mediterranean countries, from 2016 to 2020, and I am also chairing Business Africa from 2019 until today,” added Neghza.
Asked about her mission within Business Africa, the Algerian businesswoman said that this organization brings together employers’ organizations from 54 African countries, and promotes the private sector in Africa, and works for greater integration of the African economy, and thus “my mission is to animate the economic activity within the CGEA.”. I represent both structures and I work for national and African economic growth.
Regarding her efforts in the process of structuring entrepreneurship in Africa, Neghza has confirmed that she recently organized the International Women’s Conference, under the high patronage of the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, under the theme “The contribution of the Algerian woman to the national economy”, and which attracted many participants and speakers from several countries around the world, noting that they were more than 4,500 women, and this reflects – according to her – the conviction of Algerian women in the importance of women’s entrepreneurship.
“I like to make my modest contribution to micro-enterprises, because they are, in my opinion, the engine of all economic growth,” continued Neghza.
Regarding her professional background, the speaker has explained that after completing her studies, she started in the field of coffee roasting, then had worked in importing tires, and finally specialized in the field of ETPBH and public works and established the SORALCOF Group in 2002, and joined the General Confederation of Algerian Enterprises in 2006, and was elected president of the organization in 2016.
In its description of Saida Neghza, the TV5 MONDE AFRIQUE website specifies that she defends the status of women in society and children’s rights and travels around the world to demand concrete responses from governments to the problems of African youth.
