The media called to support the efforts of the State in national development

The Minister of Communication, Mohamed Bouslimani called, Tuesday in Algiers, the national media to support the efforts of the State in all areas of national development and to highlight the main achievements made in recent years.

In a statement on the sidelines of a visit to a number of national public and private media, on the occasion of the celebration of World Press Freedom Day, Bouslimani urged the national press to “support the efforts of the State in all areas and to promote the image of Algeria abroad”.

“We expect a lot from the national press, especially in this situation where Algeria is the target of numerous cybernetic attacks by countries which are mobilizing colossal funds to attack the country”, he underlined.

Calling on the national press to “redouble their efforts to highlight the great achievements made by the State in several areas at the local and international level”, the minister affirmed that “some parties are disturbed by the highlighting of the achievements and try to minimize what has been achieved by focusing only on the negative aspects”.
