Transport Minister Abdallah Moundji received on Wednesday the Ambassador of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to Algeria, Shaker Atallah Al-Amoush, with whom he agreed to examine the possibility of relaunching flights between the two countries capitals, said a statement from the ministry.
During this meeting, the two parties discussed “the state and prospects for developing cooperation relations in the field of transport, through the reactivation of bilateral agreements in the field of air, sea and land transport concluded between the two countries,” the statement read.
In this context, the two parties have agreed to examine the possibility of relaunching the airline between the two countries capitals, after the improvement of health situation linked to Covid-19, according to the ministry.
It was also decided to “continue consultation with the aim of coordinating bilateral positions between the two countries and to work to promote partnership and investment mechanisms in the various areas related to the transport sector”, the statement concluded.
