Saida Neghza meets the Qatari Minister of Administrative Development and makes a landmark speech at the International Labor Conference in Switzerland

Saida Neghza, the president of the General Confederation of Algerian Enterprises (CGEA), met, today, Monday, the Qatari Minister of Administrative Development, Labor and Social Affairs, Ali bin Said bin Samikh Al Marri.

The two sides discussed the current global economic reality, as well as ways to strengthen economic relations between the two countries.

This meeting took place on the occasion of Saida Neghza’s participation in the work of the 110th International Labor Conference in the Swiss capital, Geneva.

In his intervention at the international occasion, Neghza revealed that the CGEA played an active role, when it recruited its businessmen to provide assistance in terms of food and medical supplies and materials to the most affected areas by the pandemic.

She initiated her proposal to the government to reduce the severity of the pandemic and preserve the functioning of its economic enterprises, noting the unemployment benefit introduced by the President of the Republic, because it is the first of its kind in Algeria.

Neghza also expressed her optimism about the new investment bill, which has received special attention and care from President Abdelmadjid Tebboune.
