ALGIERS- “EMS Champion Post Algerie,” the express courier company and subsidiary of Algerie Poste, has clinched the prestigious “Customer Care Awards” trophy from the Universal Postal Union (UPU) for the sixth consecutive time in the 2023 rankings, announced a statement from the Ministry of Post and Telecommunications on Sunday.
The UPU bases its evaluation on “high-precision performance indicators, carefully observed and measured, such as compliance with international delivery standards and international data exchange requirements, in addition to responsiveness to handling complaints and the quality of customer service,” the statement emphasized.
This distinction represents “a materialization of the company’s commitment to the highest international standards in the field of express parcel delivery and its adherence to the highest quality requirements, as well as the responsiveness of its customer service. The company ranks first among operators in North Africa and the Arab Maghreb, according to the latest UPU report on the performance of member countries of the Express Mail Service (EMS) cooperative, which includes 175 countries,” the statement added.
To achieve this distinguished performance, the company embarked on “developing and executing an integrated and ambitious action plan to comply with all evaluation standards adopted by the UPU, focusing on the continuous expansion of its commercial network and service points to bring its services closer and make them more accessible to customers.”
The plan also included “organizing continuous training sessions for its human resources, while ensuring the provision of the most modern technical and logistical means, in accordance with the requirements of quality and efficiency of services provided to all its local and international customers and partners.”
This “increased dynamism in express mail activity” aligns with the “integrated approach adopted by the country’s high authorities,” according to the statement.
