ALGIERS- A memorandum of understanding was signed on Sunday in Algiers between the Algérie Presse Service ‘Algeria Press Service’ (APS) news agency and Algérie Télécom (AT) company, aiming to exchange experiences to ensure quality public service.
The document was signed by the Director-General of APS, Mr. Samir Gaïd, and the President and CEO of Algérie Télécom, Mr. Adel Bentoumi, during a ceremony held at the headquarters of AT.
Through this agreement, both parties commit to promoting public service in the telecommunications and information sectors. Mr. Gaïd emphasized the importance for APS to “collaborate with Algérie Télécom, a strategic company,” to “strengthen the agency’s resources through technical and technological cooperation.”
This cooperation, he stressed, “reflects the commitment of both parties to work together to ensure the success of their public service mission,” adding that APS and AT also pledge to “leverage their respective expertise to provide quality services to citizens.”
On his part, Mr. Bentoumi stated that this partnership aims for “the exchange of expertise to develop synergies together through an action plan prepared by both parties.”
