ALGIERS- Air Algérie, the national Algerian airline, has issued a new recruitment notice for a highly sensitive directorial position.
In a recent post on its LinkedIn account titled “Recruitment Notice,” Air Algérie announced its active search for a new Director of Human Resources to join its team. This initiative, launched on Wednesday, March 20, aims to enhance the expertise of the national airline in managing its human capital, a key element of its ongoing success.
The Director of Human Resources (HRD) plays a crucial role within Air Algérie, as they are tasked with shaping and implementing the company’s HR policy. This mission goes beyond mere administrative functions, as it directly contributes to the fulfillment and success of the company as a whole.
Indeed, the future HRD will be responsible for optimizing all processes related to the HR department. This includes a wide range of responsibilities, including developing social management, planning and controlling personnel management, as well as managing work organization and planning workforce needs in the short, medium, and long term. In other words, they will ensure that the right people are in the right place at the right time to meet the company’s operational needs.
These tasks require more than just administrative skills. They demand strong leadership and strategic vision to ensure effective management of the company’s human resources. The HRD must be able to anticipate the company’s future workforce needs while ensuring that HR policies and practices are aligned with the company’s strategic objectives.
As for the selection criteria for this position, they are rigorous and well-defined. Candidates must be Algerian nationals, aged under 55, and hold a Master’s degree or equivalent in a field of social or technical sciences. Additionally, a minimum of 10 years of professional experience in the field of human resources and management is required, including a minimum of five years in a similar position within a large public or private enterprise.
