ALGIERS- In a strange twist of fate, it’s astounding how easily the scum of society can amass a following on social media platforms. Simply log onto TikTok or YouTube and unleash a barrage of insults and slander against prominent figures like Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune or revered countries like free and resilient Algeria, and watch the views skyrocket and popularity surge. But what kind of popularity is this? Mere masses of people drawn to scandal, fueled by curiosity to uncover the reason behind the defamation of these significant personalities or esteemed nations, akin to flies congregating around rotten garbage.
Exploiting this fly-like behavior is a content creator named Munir Altawil, who claims allegiance to Syria. Yes, he alleges to be from the land of Sham, that Arab territory known for its brave men. It’s impossible for such a creature like Munir Altawil to hail from this place, as his true identity belies his purported origins. He is nothing more than a sexual deviant without roots or nationality, belonging only to the rejected and deviant community of homosexuals. And indeed, this proved to be true as the proud Syrian youth expelled him, teaching him a lesson when he declared his affiliation with his kind. Fleeing to Germany in search of a permissive environment that aligns with his deviant inclinations, he sought to continue his aimless life path without purpose.
The regime quickly recognized his astonishing talent for gathering flies and deviants around his vile and repugnant videos, filled with insults, slander, and lewd gestures. They exploited his pitiful state and enlisted him in their electronic flies and propaganda tools. The goal, of course, was to attack Algeria, with a clear exchange: a handful of money at the end of each month to keep him from the extinction that awaited him in Germany had his deviancy not been embraced. After all, he’s not skilled in any other profession.
Munir Altawil embarked on his new mission, commissioned by the intelligence of the Makhzen, his new employer. It’s not a difficult task, as it doesn’t differ much from his original occupation of selling his dignity and honor to anyone willing to pay. He appeared before his new audience of revelers to recite what he had memorized from repetitive records that the regime’s intelligence had been accustomed to presenting, using recruits and propaganda tools after their false shine dimmed and their charade was exposed.
In his low and cheap content, we can imagine who this “Munir Altawil” is attacking. He broadcasts his theatrical hatred and malice, a mere performance in exchange for a fee paid by the regime’s intelligence, aimed at Algeria, mocking its people and insulting its leadership. From these vile shows, this wretched individual managed to earn some money to cope with the harshness of life without work in Germany. However, in recent times, he has incurred the wrath of Algerians residing in Germany after crossing many red lines. Now, his presence is precarious, and his life is hanging by a thread.
