ALGIERS- During a visit to the headquarters of the 1st Military Region in Blida, General of the Army Saïd Chanegriha, Chief of Staff of the People’s National Army (ANP), emphasized the maintenance of operational readiness at the highest level.
As part of his inspection visits to various components of the ANP during the sacred month of Ramadan, General Chanegriha conducted a working and inspection visit to the headquarters of the 1st Military Region in Blida, as reported by the Ministry of National Defense in a statement. During the visit, General Chanegriha addressed the staff and personnel of the 1st Military Region, delivering a guidance speech broadcasted via videoconference to all units of the Region.
In his address, General Chanegriha underscored the ANP’s commitment to continue developing its defense capabilities across all domains and maintaining its operational readiness at the highest level to serve the supreme interests of the nation. “On this occasion, I would like to emphasize that the People’s National Army, the worthy heir of the National Liberation Army (ALN), will continue with determination and rigor to develop its defense capabilities in all areas, and to maintain its operational readiness at the highest level, in order to defend the supreme interests of the nation,” he stated.
Furthermore, he emphasized the importance of strengthening the sacred bond between the ANP and the Algerian people, which provides the country with additional strength and resilience against all dangers and threats. General Chanegriha commended the unity and cohesion of Algerian society, stating that they would undoubtedly serve as a solid bulwark against all threats.
“We are confident that these threats will be contained thanks to the efforts of patriotic men and the cohesion and innate sense of solidarity that characterize Algerian society. This bond and cohesion serve as a solid bulwark against anyone who would dare to undermine Algeria’s sacred land, its popular and territorial unity, and its vital interests,” he declared.
