Algerian FM Meets Families of Algerians Stranded in Gaza

ALGIERS- Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Ahmed Attaf, held a meeting on Thursday with members of families of Algerian citizens stranded in the Gaza Strip, in the occupied Palestinian territories.

According to a statement from the ministry, the meeting addressed “the efforts made by the Algerian authorities to overcome obstacles and difficulties hindering the evacuation process of Algerian nationals stranded in the Gaza Strip since the beginning of the Zionist aggression, in coordination with Egyptian authorities and the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC).”

During the meeting, Mr. Attaf affirmed that “the Algerian state will spare no effort to protect its citizens wherever they are, as it has always demonstrated through evacuation operations to Algeria that our country has carried out in recent years,” the statement concluded.
