The 21st edition of the International Tourism and Travel Fair (SITEV) will be held from September 29th to October 2nd at the “Pins Maritimes” Exhibition Center (Algiers) after a two-year shutdown due to the Covid-19 pandemic, a says the director general of the National Tourist Office (ONT), Saliha Nacer Bey.
Preparations are underway to make this international event a success, which will see the participation of more than 200 local and foreign operators in the field of tourism, travel and hospitality, Nacer Bey told APS.
This Fair is an opportunity for operators to promote their tourist offers and also allows the general public to discover the tourist diversity in Algeria.
This edition will be rich in events, assured the Dg of the ONT, noting that it will see the exhibition of the latest developments in the tourism sector, including the use of new information and communication technologies (ICT) and the generalization of digital in the promotion of tourist destinations in Algeria and local tourism.
It is also a meeting where tourism operators and actors can present their offers, share their experiences, and establish professional relations.
Scientific activities on ICT and the generalization of digital in trade and tourism will be organized on the sidelines of the Fair.
