The National Civil Society Observatory is organizing the “Intergenerational Communication to Support Joint Arab Action” Forum, from September 10 to 15, 2022 in Oran.
A press release from the observatory, today Thursday, and a copy of which was received by “Dzair Tube”, said: “In support of the efforts and efforts made by Algeria to promote joint Arab action, and with the aim of enabling all spectrums of Arab societies to make their contributions on the means of meeting the most important current challenges facing the Arab world, according to an innovative approach, the synergy of traditional institutional frameworks, The National Observatory of Civil Society is organizing the “Intergenerational Communication to Support Arab Action” Forum, from September 10 to 15, 2022 in Oran. ”
The forum will see the participation of representatives of various civil society activities, from all Arab countries, including community activists, personalities and skills, researchers, scholars and experts, former high officials and intellectuals daughters and sons of the new generation, to be a space for dialogue, consultation and foresight, on priority and important issues at the Arab level, in order to consolidate the foundations of Arab solidarity, to improve communication between generations , and to find a vision to support Joint Arab Action, in light of the major multidimensional challenges facing the global system, including those related to energy, food and health security and climate change.
“Intergenerational Communication to Support Joint Arab Action” Forum represents a framework that brings together the various actors of civil society, in order to propose ideas, visions and proposals, to strengthen Arab integration and solidarity, and to overcome the difficulties and challenges to achieve the goal of sustainable development to which our Arab peoples aspire.
The forum is expected to address certain themes including; The Joint Arab Action Process: Challenges and Prospects; the role of Arab civil society in addressing the effects of international challenges on the Arab world; Revive memory and intergenerational communication in the service of Joint Arab Action; the popular dimension in the reform and development of the Joint Arab Action system; In addition to ways to activate the participation of civil society in the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals.
