The President of the CGEA indicated that the crises that the world has been experiencing since 2020 require placing food, health and energy security at the center of everyone’s concerns, calling for priority to be given to agriculture and agri-food, to pharmaceutical industry, to industry and to care about scientific research and innovation.
She also urged the government to support young owners of emerging businesses and small businesses technically and financially, considering these businesses as the most important link in the national economic fabric, especially given the availability of political will. and the presence of legal texts, which are just waiting to be implemented, in addition to the need to fight against bureaucracy and put officials who believe in the market economy and in the capacity of the Algerian entrepreneur to create wealth..
Regarding the partnership and cooperation between Algeria and the United States of America, the speaker confirmed that she had previously met the United States Ambassador on several occasions, as well as a number of investors. Americans, noting that the Americans are distinguished by their pragmatism and have enormous financial and technological capacities, and they want to invest in Algeria, particularly in the fields of agriculture and energy. The American investor is looking for a serious and committed partner and a stable business climate that does not change with the change of minister or manager.
As for the role of the confederation as a civic association within the country, the businesswoman pointed out that “the confederation is a civic economic association that suffers when our country suffers and interacts with its joys.
