Minister of the Environment and Renewable Energies, Samia Moualfi, called on Tuesday from Khenchela for start-ups to invest in the field of waste recycling.
Attending a presentation on the situation of the Technical Landfill Center (CET inter-municipalities) in Beghaî, the Minister stressed that investment in the field of waste recycling creates wealth and jobs.
Moualfi indicated that his ministerial department has made a digital platform available to startups wishing to invest in the field of waste recycling to support them in the realization of various projects beneficial to the environment, the country and the owners of the start-ups. -up.
On this occasion, she instructed the officials of the CET of the municipality of Beghaî to work to further develop the Center and make it complementary through the recovery of waste and recycling and encourage start-ups to invest in this area within the framework the ministry’s new approach to help optimize the performance of the waste recycling economy.
Inspecting the project to build a second CET in the Baghai commune, which is part of the complementary development program for this wilaya, the Minister gave instructions to meet the contractual deadlines and to speed up the pace of the work. through the mobilization of brigades having to work alternately to receive it within the set deadlines.
During her visit to the environmental club at the “Ahmadou Mohamed” primary school in the commune of Bouhmama, Ms. Moualfi invited associations and components of civil society to participate in all programs related to the environmental field of as the wilaya of Khenchela is preparing to relaunch the green dam project and reforestation operations from next October.
She also called for the consecration of the concept of environmental education among the younger generations through the programming of courses for primary school students encouraging them to the need to protect the environment.
The Minister who visited the new high school in the locality Ain Djarbou in the commune of Babar equipped (the high school) with solar energy called on the heads of the various public establishments, in particular Education, to the need to switch to solar energy through the programming of development projects benefiting from electricity via this green energy as part of efforts to rationalize expenditure and transition to clean energy.
At the new high school of Ain Djarbou, the Minister attended the signing ceremony of two cooperation agreements, the first between the sectors of the Environment and National Education for the generalization and encouragement of environmental education and environmental activity in schools and also the supervision of environmental clubs.
As for the second agreement signed between the Environment and Vocational Training sectors, it aims to encourage certain professions, particularly in the specialties of waste management, recycling, renewable energies and support for graduates from the sector to realize their projects and create their own micro-enterprises.
