Blida: Exportation of 23 Tons of Flat Glass to Tunisia

Algiers- Algeria, May 14, 2024 – An industrial unit specialized in glass manufacturing in the Larbaâ region, east of the Blida province, exported twenty-three (23) tons of flat glass to Tunisia.

Adel Ouhlima, the logistics director of the exporting company “Mediterranean Float Glass” (MFG), stated that “this export operation is part of the company’s program, which plans to allocate 70% of local production for export.”

He added that MFG, which has already exported its products to several other countries including Italy, Egypt, and the Balkan countries, aims to penetrate the markets of the United States of America, Brazil, and Argentina.

Mr. Ouhlima noted that the company is the first in Africa and the fifth globally in terms of production and quality. He praised the “customs facilitations” provided, which allowed “time and effort savings.”

This export activity reflects the growing success and expansion of MFG, highlighting its competitiveness and the quality of its products in international markets. With plans to venture into new markets in the Americas, the company is poised for further growth and success on the global stage.
