Algiers, Algeria | May 30, 2024 — President Abdelmadjid Tebboune unveiled significant housing initiatives during his meeting with local dignitaries and civil society representatives in the province of Khenchela on Thursday afternoon. The President announced that registrations for the AADL3 program, aimed at providing affordable housing solutions, will commence from July 5th onwards.
In a move to further bolster housing programs in the province, President Tebboune declared, “Starting from today, it has been decided to add a quota of 2000 rural housing units to the already planned 4000 rural housing units.” He emphasized that mountainous regions will receive additional support, with assistance worth 100 million centimes allocated for these areas.
This announcement underscores the government’s steadfast commitment to addressing housing needs across diverse regions of the country and providing vital support to rural communities. The expansion of the AADL3 program is expected to offer accessible housing options for eligible applicants, thereby enhancing the overall development and well-being of Algerian citizens.
