Algiers, Algeria | June 10th, 2024 —In anticipation of Aid El-Adha, the National Retirement Fund (CNR) has announced the early disbursement of pensions and allowances for retirees and beneficiaries. This adjustment includes the recent increases ordered by President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, which are retroactive from May 2024. The CNR outlined this special schedule in a statement on Sunday, shifting payments from the usual period of the 15th to the 26th of each month to a new timeframe from June 11 to June 14.
Special Payment Schedule
The revised schedule for pension and allowance disbursement is as follows:
– June 11, 2024: Pensions and allowances will be credited to bank accounts.
– June 12, 2024: Payments for postal account holders who typically receive their pensions on June 15, 16, or 17.
– June 13, 2024: Payments for postal account holders who typically receive their pensions on June 18, 19, 20, or 21.
– June 14, 2024: Payments for those who usually receive their pensions on June 22, 23, 24, 25, or 26.
These adjustments ensure that retirees and beneficiaries receive their funds in time for the holiday, incorporating the recent increases with retroactive effect from May 2024.
QR Code for Income Certificates
In addition to the early payment schedule, the CNR has introduced a new feature allowing retirees to download their income certificates using a QR code. This initiative is part of the CNR’s efforts to enhance service accessibility and convenience for its members.
By implementing this early payment schedule and the new QR code system, the CNR aims to provide timely support and improved services to Algeria’s retirees and beneficiaries during the Aid El-Adha celebrations. This proactive approach ensures financial readiness for the holiday, reflecting the CNR’s commitment to the welfare of its members.
