Imperative to support precarious categories in economic and social insertion

The Minister of National Solidarity, Family and the Status of Women Kaoutar Krikou insisted on Tuesday from Oum El-Bouaghi on the imperative support for the economic and social integration of vulnerable categories.

In a statement to the press, on the sidelines of her visit to El Kouahi, the birthplace of Chahid Larbi ben M’Hidi, in the commune of Ain M’lila, Krikou affirmed that “we must support the empowerment and the economic and social integration of vulnerable categories while maintaining the usual social policy of the State”.

After watching a theatrical performance on the war of national liberation against the French occupier, performed by children with specific needs at the family home of Chahid Ben M’hidi, Ms. Krikou underlined that these activities “promote the creativity of young people with special needs specific and instill in them the patriotic spirit”.

She specified that these activities are part of “the strategy of her department which comes in application of the work plan of the government and the program of the President of the Republic Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune who insists on the imperative training of the young generation for the preservation of memory”.

The Minister kicked off a solidarity caravan carrying medical equipment and various aids to the inhabitants of the gray areas of the two municipalities of El Amiria and Bir Chouhada, at the initiative of the National Solidarity sectors and Health.

Krikou also visited the center for assisted children, in the capital of the wilaya, the crafts house, in Ain M’lila, and an exhibition of families producing in agriculture, beneficiaries of public aid schemes for employment, in the commune of Ain Babouche.
