Algiers, Algeria | July 3rd, 2024 — President Abdelmadjid Tebboune has recognized Algeria’s substantial strides in scientific research, crediting the efforts of the People’s National Army (ANP) for these achievements. His remarks were featured in a documentary titled “Dignified Elites Continuing the March,” aired on Algerian Television and produced by the ANP’s Directorate of Communication, Information, and Guidance.

In his address, President Tebboune commended the ANP for its initiatives in exploring new scientific tools designed to enhance Algeria’s resilience. He emphasized the crucial role of scientific research in fostering national development, echoing sentiments expressed during the inauguration of the National School of Artificial Intelligence.

The documentary highlighted a graduation ceremony at the Cherchell Military Academy, presided over by President Tebboune, where he recognized several promotions, including the 55th fundamental training promotion, the 17th common basic military training promotion, and the 8th officers’ Master’s cycle promotion. These graduates were equipped with a diverse range of scientific knowledge, steeped in national values, and prepared to confront contemporary global challenges.

The film captured perspectives from distinguished graduates and their families, illustrating their dedication to military service and safeguarding Algeria’s sovereignty. It also featured General of the Army Saïd Chanegriha’s visit to the Cherchell Military Academy, underscoring the significance of the ANP’s educational framework, which prioritizes scientific education, cognitive development, and practical officer training.
