ALGIERS- The year 2022 witnessed a significant increase in non-hydrocarbon exports, which reached 7 billion dollars by the end of the year 2022, a record achieved through the strategy of President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, aimed at diversifying national economy, while the regulation of imports continues at a rapid pace.

Based on this strategy, two first shipments of industrial wool amounting to 147 tonnes were exported Tuesday, from the industrial zone Barika, province of Batna, to Tunisia and Turkey, at the initiative of the joint-stock company El Feth.

This export operation took place in the presence of the mediator of the Republic, Madjid Ammour, who was accompanied by the wali of Batna, Mohamed Benmalek. According to the explanations, this company includes four production units of sponge, industrial fibers, bedding and plastic recycling and processing.

It entered production in 1984 and has experience in exporting its products to African, Asian and European countries.
