Algeria, China Explore New Avenues for Collaboration in Electronic, Communication Technologies

Algiers, Algeria | October 16th, 2024 — On Tuesday, Ali Aoun, Algeria’s Minister of Industry and Pharmaceutical Production, hosted a high-profile meeting with Li Li Gong, the CEO of the Chinese electronics company ELINC, to explore avenues for expanding bilateral cooperation in the industrial sector, with a particular emphasis on electronics manufacturing. Following the presentation, Minister Aoun expressed appreciation for ELINC’s advanced technological capabilities and its significant contribution to the development of the electronics sector in Algeria. He also emphasized the importance of intensifying the company’s activities in the country, calling for the production of a broader range of electronics tailored to the needs of the Algerian market. The minister further encouraged the pursuit of industrial partnerships based on a win-win model to stimulate the growth of Algeria’s electronics manufacturing sector.
