Algiers, Algeria | December 13th, 2024 — The National Retirement Fund (CNR) has issued a statement detailing the procedures for the renewal of required documents for beneficiaries of pensions or retirement allowances during their birth month. This announcement, aimed at ensuring the smooth continuation of entitlements, underscores the importance of compliance with these updates.
Key Documents for Renewal
According to the official communication shared on the fund’s Facebook page, the required documents vary based on the type of retirement.
For direct retirement beneficiaries, the following is mandatory:
- A family certificate of civil status containing marginal notes.
For transferred pensions, the requirements are categorized as follows:
- Adult orphans:
- A certificate of non-engagement in paid activity.
- A family certificate of civil status with marginal notes indicating “alive.”
- Widows:
- A certificate of non-marriage.
- A family certificate of civil status.
- Adult female orphans (aged 19 and above):
- A certificate of non-marriage.
- A certificate of non-engagement in any activity.
- Male orphans:
- For those under 21: A school certificate.
- For those under 25: An apprenticeship contract.
Simplified Renewal Methods
The CNR has streamlined the renewal process, offering two convenient options:
- Utilizing the “Taqaoudi” mobile application.
- Employing facial recognition services.
In addition, the CNR has released a comprehensive video guide explaining the timelines and procedures for periodic document renewal, ensuring transparency and ease of access for beneficiaries.
