Effective immediately, the airline has implemented a revised check-in policy for international flights, requiring passengers to check in four hours prior to the scheduled departure time. The check-in process will conclude one hour and thirty minutes before the flight’s departure.
The airline emphasized that these measures have been put in place to address issues related to missing passenger reservations and the timely handling of luggage. Air Algérie has limited the process of finalizing reservations and searching for luggage to a period of 30 minutes before the scheduled departure time.
Air Algérie has also made it clear that boarding will be completed, including the removal of gangways, 20 minutes before the flight’s take-off time. This adjustment ensures that all passengers are on board and ready for departure within a reasonable timeframe.
