ALGIERS- In a surprising move, Tel Aviv has decided to establish two drone assembly factories in Morocco, further solidifying its strategic and security cooperation with the country. Elbit Systems, the Zionist defense company, plans to open these industrial sites, with one expected to be located in Casablanca. Known for its expertise in defense, homeland security, and commercial devices, Elbit Systems operates globally in various sectors, such as aerospace, land and navy systems, command and control, communications, and intelligence.
The decision to set up drone assembly factories in Morocco follows a bilateral defense meeting between Rabat and Tel Aviv, where the two parties agreed to extend their military cooperation to intelligence and cyber-security. The Moroccan army confirmed this development and hinted at the possibility of the first extradition of a Palestinian resistance fighter to the occupied territories. The Royal Armed Forces (FAR) stated in a press release that the two parties had agreed to enhance their collaboration in areas such as intelligence, air defense, and electronic warfare.
It is worth noting that Tel Aviv has successfully sold arms to Arab countries that signed the Abraham Accords, with total sales reaching a staggering $12.5 billion in the past year alone. The signatories of the Accords accounted for almost a quarter of the Zionist entity’s record-breaking arms exports during the same period. This surge represents a remarkable 50% increase over the past three years, highlighting the growing demand for the Zionist entity’s advanced technologies and weapons in the region.
Morocco, one of the signatory nations of the Abraham Accords, is reportedly in talks with Tel Aviv to purchase Zionist cruise missiles, including the Delilah short-range cruise missile for its F-5 fighter jets. According to military news site Defensa, this missile system, developed by Elbit Systems, will provide the Moroccan army with a highly effective weapon against land and sea targets up to a range of 250 km. The Spanish military news site also noted the missile’s proven effectiveness, citing its successful deployment in Zionist operations in Syria.
While these developments raise concerns, it should be acknowledged that countries like Russia possess advanced air defense systems, such as the S-300 and S-400, which act as deterrents against potential Zionist aggression. Algeria, with its robust defense capabilities, stands ready to defend its interests and respond decisively to any hostile actions from its western neighbor.
