Tamanrasset, July 19, 2023 – Today, the wilaya of Tamanrasset was plunged into sorrow as a devastating road accident on National Road 1 claimed the lives of 34 innocent people and left 12 others injured. According to a statement from civil protection, the tragedy unfolded early in the morning following a catastrophic collision between a passenger transport bus and a utility vehicle. The horrifying impact led to an inferno that engulfed both vehicles, causing immeasurable loss and injury.
As rescue operations continue, the entire nation mourns the loss of precious lives and extends heartfelt condolences to the grieving families.
