Algiers- Algeria, May 12, 2024 – The Minister of Housing, Tarek Belaribi, visited the site of the 13,300 housing units in Sidi Abdellah, Algiers, on Saturday, to discuss the characteristics of the AADL-3 housing program.
During the visit, the minister highlighted that the upcoming AADL-3 program will have a new urban character. He provided further details, mentioning that the housing units in this program will consist of buildings ranging from 15 to 20 stories. Each floor will contain six units and will be equipped with Algerian-made elevators.
Belaribi also emphasized that the buildings will have an urban design adapted to the nature of the regions in the high plateaus, central, and southern parts of Algeria.
Regarding the site of the 13,300 housing units visited in Sidi Abdellah, Belaribi stated that the completion rate has reached 80%.
The AADL-3 program represents a significant step towards addressing the housing needs of Algerians, especially in urban areas. By introducing new features such as taller buildings and Algerian-manufactured elevators, the program aims to provide modern and comfortable housing options for citizens across different regions.
The focus on urban adaptation indicates a strategic approach to urban planning and development, ensuring that housing projects are tailored to the specific needs and characteristics of each region.
