Algiers- Algeria, May 11, 2024 – Abdelkader Bengrina, the president of El-Bina El Watani, has stated that his party will soon announce its candidate for the upcoming presidential election. He expressed confidence that the movement will ensure a “resounding victory” for its chosen candidate and for anyone who shares its goals and visions.
Speaking at a public gathering in the province of Guelma with the theme “Together for the Success of the Presidential Election,” Bengrina urged everyone to shoulder their responsibilities in the upcoming election to enhance the value of popular legitimacy. He emphasized the importance of broad popular participation regardless of the candidates’ identities or the election outcomes.
Bengrina stressed that it is the responsibility of the Algerian people to actively participate in the presidential elections, aiming for a political flood known as the ‘New Algeria’s Deluge’ to settle the competition in the first round.
He highlighted that the success of the presidential election signifies Algeria’s ability to maintain its national decision and sovereignty, especially amidst numerous challenges, risks, and threats.
According to Bengrina, the successful election would demonstrate to the world that Algerian citizens, wherever they are, remain steadfastly committed to their homeland, especially in critical times.
Bengrina further emphasized that Algeria faces significant pressure as it seeks economic liberation through sovereign decision-making. He underscored the importance of the Algerian people’s role in safeguarding the nation’s interests during this crucial period.
Regarding the movement’s stance, Bengrina affirmed that the party’s position will align with that of the Algerian people and its elites. The Shura Council will faithfully represent the will of the Algerian people, whose opinions have been deeply consulted. The movement will sincerely consider their views for the greater good of Algeria.
