ALGIERS- Abdelkrim Benmbarek, the Secretary-General of the National Liberation Front (FLN), has declared that “the era of dirty money and corruption has no place within the party,” emphasizing that “the FLN is a safety valve and will regain its brilliance and position in the political arena as it has always done.”
During his address at the regional meeting of western provinces, Abdelkrim Benmbarek asserted that “the establishment of the Council of Elders is a first in the party’s history, comprising veterans and high-ranking activists.”
The party’s top official revealed that during his tenure, he will not tolerate any “insults to a party member, regardless of their rank.”
Calling for the “reunification” of party members, Abdelkrim Benmbarek specified that “the party does not belong to one person but to all members,” affirming that “the FLN will be a pivotal player in the upcoming events and will lead the charge.”
In this regard, the FLN Secretary-General extended an olive branch, advocating for the return of “all members without exclusion,” emphasizing that “the interests of the party and the nation must take precedence over all considerations.”
