After the resounding success of its coverage and support of the Mediterranean Games during its 19th edition, organized in Oran last summer, Mobilis has taken the lead among mobile telephone operators in Algeria, according to the latest ranking of the site “5G MARK », specialized in ranking mobile operators.
On May 19, Mobilis and the Organizing Committee of the Oran-2022 Mediterranean Games signed a partnership agreement under which the company will support the 19th edition of the Mediterranean Games, which took place in Oran from June 25 to July 5. 2022, in the presence of the CEO of Mobilis, Chawki Boukhazani, and Mohamed Aziz Derouaz, publishing commissioner.
The incumbent mobile telephone operator in Algeria provided technological support for the inhabitants and guests of the wilaya of Oran, by providing high quality services and optimal technological coverage for the Mediterranean Games, which largely contributed to the success of this world sporting event and to honor the image of Algeria, through its support for Algerian sport, reiterating its determination to be its undisputed first supporter, and thus the coverage by Mobilis of the 19th edition of the Mediterranean Games has allowed the city of Oran to take the lead in the ranking against several cities in the world, including Rabat in Morocco, Marseille in France and Istanbul in Turkey.
In this context, Mobilis is taking up the challenge in order to achieve its objective which is to extend its successful experience in Oran to the whole country by the end of the current year, where it has drawn up a program which includes initially 10 wilayas, which will benefit from the same quality of services provided in Oran, from the time of the Mediterranean sports competition until today.
The new ranking which places Mobilis at the top of the mobile telephone operators is no coincidence, since Mobilis had previously won the “speedtest Award” for the best coverage in Algeria, “best mobile coverage” provided by the international company “OOCLA”. , during the MWC events organized in Barcelona, Spain last March, in which major telecommunications operators participated, and Mobilis received a special distinction on the sidelines of this award.
This new ranking did not come out of nowhere. It was the result of great efforts and rational management, which radically changed the style of management, making it possible to provide the best services to the Algerian client. Everyone remembers how, as soon as the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, trusted Chaouki Boukhazani who, after his appointment as CEO of the first telecommunications company in Algeria, he provoked a real revolution and profound changes within the central and regional administration of Mobilis, which included a number of senior company officials who were considered immune to any change, so that Mobilis made its way towards what it has become a great success today, after its ranking among the mobile operators in Algeria experienced a notable fluctuation, during the period 2016-2021.
Over the past summer, the Mobilis network has proven its leadership in terms of coverage at the national level by reaching the furthest point in the great south of Algeria, with high quality services, whether calls or internet service.
In the meantime, Mobilis looks forward to covering the Arab Summit, which will be held in Algeria on November 1-2, providing the best and high quality services to guests from Algeria attending the summit.
