Participants in the national assizes of civil society highlighted, Wednesday in Algiers, the pivotal role of civil society in the construction of the new Algeria and the establishment of its foundations.
At the end of the national meeting, the speakers underlined the central role of civil society in the construction of the new Algeria and its foundations underlying the moralization of public life, the reform of the management system for good governance. , the achievement of economic growth based on innovation and the creation of wealth, but also the strengthening of the place of Algeria on the international level.
In the same context, the participants showed their desire to make the conclusions of these meetings a roadmap capable of promoting the performance of civil society at all levels, in partnership with the public authorities.
As a result, the Advisor to the President of the Republic in charge of national archives and national memory, Mr. Abdelmadjid Chikhi considered that civil society, all persuasions combined, constituted a godsend for setting up an elite through the exploitation common denominators to reach a real consensus.
He also called for efforts to be deployed within the framework of joint action aimed at achieving the expected objectives of civil society, to which the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune attaches great importance.
In turn, the Director General of the National Institute of Global Strategic Studies (INESG), Mr. Abdelaziz Medjahed said he was confident of the presence of potential and skills in Algeria capable of leaving their mark on society, starting with the promotion of good citizenship, the inculcation of civic values, which, according to him, constitute the bedrock of civil society.
The national assizes of civil society organized by the National Observatory of Civil Society (ONSC) over two days, will have to be closed on Wednesday and sanctioned by recommendations constituting a roadmap for the promotion of the performance of civil society.
