Air Algérie: can we book in February from France?

International commercial flights have resumed in Algeria since June 1, 2020 after a long period of border closures that lasted since March 17, 2020.

At first, only nine flights were authorized, but thereafter the program was gradually enriched.

Currently, a hundred flights are scheduled each week to eleven countries. If we expected to see more air connections, the arrival of the Omicron variant has somewhat upset the forecasts for the end of 2021.

Apart from the switch to a daily flight between Algeria and Tunisia, there has been no increase in services in recent weeks.

On social networks, candidates for a trip to Algeria explain that they are reluctant to book. A justified fear when we know that flights are put on sale when they are not on the program.

At the start of the year, around a hundred Air Algérie passengers had a mishap because they had booked on the wrong flights between Algiers and Paris.
