Air Algérie wins bet of digitization, promotional tickets sold out fast

ALGIERS– The national air carrier Air Algérie took part in the 13th edition of the International Tourism, Travel and Transport Show “SIAHA 2023”, held recently in Oran, to get closer to citizens in order to identify their concerns, confirmed the company’ spokesperson Amine Andaloussi.
In an exclusive statement to “Dzair Tube”, Andalusi said that the salon also allowed Air Algérie to meet with travel and tourism agencies, with the aim to discuss possibilities of cooperation to promote domestic tourism and promote its various destinations.
The spokesperson also highlighted that the company was present at the salon with many promotional offers for several international destinations. He noted, in this regard, that these promotional fares, highly welcomed by the public, were sold out during the five days of the salon.”
In this context, the official spokesman for Air Algerie pointed out that the company was able to win the bet on digitization, as the company’s tickets were sold outside the traditional framework of tourism and travel agencies, opening up future prospects towards development and reaching customers in modern and innovative ways.
Amine Andalusi revealed, exclusively to “Dzair Tube” that other promotional fares will be announced by the company “Air Algerie” in the next few days.
Earlier, the national airline Air Algérie announced promotional fares on air tickets to several international destinations. The promotional fares are valid until March 31, and concern round-trip tickets for flights bound for Tunis, Lisbon (Portugal), Geneva (Switzerland), Vienne (Austria), London (England), Dakar (Senegal), Nouakchott (Mauritania), Abidjan (Côte d’Ivoire), Bamako (Mali), Amman (Jordan), Doha (Qatar), Montreal (Canada), Moscow (Russia) and Beijing (China),” according to the same official.
Mr. Andaloussi said that Air Algerie “has reduced its prices on the African network, in application of the new strategy aimed at positioning the national company on the continent”.
He assured that the company has resumed its flights with regular lines towards the above-mentioned African countries, which will allow Algerian economic operators to establish economic and commercial relations with these countries.
