Air Canada Resumes Non-stop Flights Between Algiers, Montreal Starting June 17, 2024

ALGIERS-After a successful 2023 season, Air Canada has decided to renew its non-stop flight service between Algiers and Montreal, commencing on June 17, 2024. The announcement was made by Mehdi Sentissi, the Regional Sales Director for Switzerland and North Africa, during a press conference held at Dar Diaf Hotel in Chéraga.
The direct service from Algiers to Montreal will operate from June 17, 2024, until September 28, 2024, with four weekly flights scheduled on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.
Mr. Sentissi expressed enthusiasm about the news, stating, “This is excellent news for our clients in Algeria, allowing them to start planning their next trip to visit friends and family or rediscover Canada. Our non-stop flights from Algiers to Montreal will provide our clients in Algeria with a direct connection to Canada and the Americas. We look forward to welcoming them on board our aircraft.”
The flights on this route will be operated using Airbus A330-300 aircraft, accommodating up to 285 passengers with a choice of two classes of service: Economy Class and Premium Economy.
In his presentation, Mr. Sentissi explained, “All Air Canada flights departing from Algiers to Montreal will be serviced by the Airbus A330-300, offering up to 285 passengers a choice between Economy Class and Premium Economy Class.” He emphasized that the flights are strategically scheduled to optimize connectivity within Air Canada’s extensive North American network, covering 52 airports in the United States.
Seats for the Algiers-Montreal flights can be reserved through the Air Canada website, the Air Canada app, the company’s service centers, or partner travel agencies.
During the press conference, Mr. Sentissi also highlighted the international services offered by Air Canada, including three cabin classes: Signature Air Canada with fully reclining seats, Premium Economy with larger seats and premium services, and Economy Class featuring inspired meals and beverages designed by renowned chefs. All cabins are equipped with award-winning in-flight entertainment screens at each seat.
Additionally, Mr. Sentissi mentioned that passengers can purchase Wi-Fi connectivity packages, and Aeroplan members enjoy complimentary texting on Wi-Fi-equipped flights.
In discussing the culinary offerings, Mr. Sentissi underscored the expertise of acclaimed Canadian chefs such as David Hawksworth, Vikram Vij, Jérôme Ferrer, and Antonio Park, whose talents contribute to the outstanding dining experience on Air Canada’s international flights.
