Algiers, Algeria | July 18th, 2024 — Abdelmadjid Tebboune has officially submitted his candidacy dossier for the upcoming Presidential election, scheduled for September 7, 2024, at the National Independent Authority for Elections (ANIE) headquarters on Thursday afternoon.
“I extend my gratitude to all the parties, organizations, and bodies that have supported my candidacy, as well as to all the citizens who took the time to go to the municipalities to sign the subscription forms,” Tebboune stated to the press after submitting his dossier. He expressed his hope that his “candidacy for the September 7 Presidential election will be accepted by ANIE.”
Tebboune also congratulated the new baccalaureate graduates, wishing them a successful university journey, and extended his best wishes to those who did not succeed this year. Additionally, he wished good luck to the Algerian athletes who will be participating in the upcoming Olympic Games in Paris.
