ALGIERS- An Argentinian delegation composed of 46 businessmen and three experts is expected in Algeria at the beginning of next week.
This delegation will make a working visit to Algeria (from May 13 to 16), announced, Wednesday, a press release from the Ministry of Industry and Pharmaceutical Production, relayed by several national media.
According to the same source, a meeting will bring together, under one roof, representatives of the Algerian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CACI) and the Chamber of Commerce of Argentina.
“The objective of this visit is the strengthening of the economic partnership between Algeria and Argentina, particularly in the field of industry and pharmaceutical production”, explained the same source.
A sneak peek into both countries’ bilateral relations
Algeria and Argentina share a diplomatic relationship that dates back to the 1960s. During the Algerian War of Independence, Argentina provided political support to Algeria, and both countries established formal diplomatic relations in 1962. Since then, they have maintained cordial relations based on shared interests and mutual respect.
Bilateral relations between Algeria and Argentina have been strengthened by their cooperation in various fields.
