Following an audience granted by the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, marking the end of his mission in Algeria, Mr. Getachew highlighted the “very solid diplomatic and political relations” between Algeria and Ethiopia. He noted that the two countries have successfully established “a very strong economic cooperation,” showcasing the depth of their bilateral ties.

The Ethiopian ambassador expressed confidence in the future economic potential of both countries, stating that they “will be able to leverage their significant economic potential in the future.” He underscored that the cooperation between Algeria and Ethiopia “is not limited to bilateral domains but also extends to international issues.” The meeting took place in the presence of the Director of the Presidential Cabinet, Mr. Boualem Boualem.
